IReeN holds meetings annually (spring and autumn depending on need), to provide members with the opportunity to hear about future challenges that face the payroll and pensions industry directly from the Government departments responsible and industry experts. Also to interact and network with peers.
We have regular contributions from HMRC Software Development Support Team, Data quality and policy as well as The Pensions Regulator and how that relates to payroll.
In recent years events have been held in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and thanks to the generosity of members providing us with free conference venues, we have managed to keep costs to a minimum to cover the cost of lunch. We are always looking for venues to host these meetings, so if you are able to provide accommodation in these or other locations, then please let the committee know.
The autumn 2019 meeting were held in London (courtesy of McDonald’s restaurants), Manchester and Glasgow (facilitated by SD Worx).
Due to COVID-19, we will review options for meetings, either face to face or via Web as policies develop in readiness for April 2021 changes.
